The Chicago Mercantile Exchange is currently in the process of consolidating our two data networks: the FIN and GLOBEX^�.  This migration primarily changes the way the firms are sending their clearing data to and from CME.  However, in addition, it also impacts those firms that access FirmSoft via their FIN connection.  Thus, with the FIN lines being eliminated, and in light of the new enhancements that are being added to FirmSoft, we are requesting that all FirmSoft users that use the FIN for connectivity access, request security access to FirmSoft via the portal.

The portal will allow users to access FirmSoft not only within their office, but from any PC with an Internet browser that has been registered for access to our portal.  So you can log in and check the status of your orders from home, on a laptop, and even on the road.

Requesting Portal Access

To gain access to FirmSoft via the portal, you must fill out a FirmSoft Access Request Form.  You can download a copy by clicking on the link: http://www.cme.com/clr/cltmgt/forms967.html.  On the form, please indicate that you want to receive Portal Access Only.   Then fax your completed form to your CME Tech Marketing Account Manager.  Once your request has been processed, you will receive an e-mail with your portal user id and password, along with directions for registering and accessing FirmSoft via the portal.
